Cow & Bull Histamine and Immune (180 Capsules)
THIS PRODUCT IS AVAILABLE FOR UK SHIPPING ONLY.
NXGEN Wholefoods Cow & Bull Histamine and Immune contains a unique blend of peptides that might support histamine intolerance, allergies, and immune response. If you suffer from common symptoms of allergies including itchy, watery eyes, nasal congestion, and hives, or you are concerned about your immune response to viruses, bacteria, parasites, or mould, this product might be of interest to you!
Made from a premixed combination of freeze dried lung, spleen, kidney, thymus and liver, Cow & Bull Histamine and Immune provides:
- Diamine Oxidase (DAO) which assists with the breakdown of histamine and supports immune health.
- Kidney-specific peptides, which might help reduce the concentration of oxalates in the urine.
- Thymopoietin, thymulin, thymosin fraction 5, thymosin alpha-1, and thymosine humoral factor which might activate and enhance immune cell functioning.
- Thymosin beta-4, which is an important peptide for stimulating the pituitary hormones necessary for reproductive function.
- Splenin, which might increase the number of neutrophils and macrophages.
- Tuftsin and splenopentin. Tuftsin stimulates macrophages and a deficiency of it is linked to bacterial infections.
- Hepcidin peptide, which is directly involved in iron metabolism.
- LEAP-2, an antimicrobial peptide involved in immune response and glucose metabolism.
- Preformed vitamin A, which is important for immune and reproductive health.
- Fat-soluble vitamins D, E and K.
- Bioavailable heme iron.
- Selenium, copper and zinc.
In days gone by, many cultures ate according to the principle of ‘like supports like’. They would have consumed lung in the belief that it would promote respiratory health and combat nasal congestion. Kidney would have been eaten in the hope of supporting urinary health and detoxification. Thymus and spleen would have been consumed to strengthen these organs and promote appropriate immune response. Liver was routinely eaten in the belief that it contributed to general strength, wellbeing and vitality.
In their book ‘The Encyclopaedia of Healing Foods’ Murray, Pizzorno and Pizzorno write: “To a very large extent, the health of the thymus determines the health of the immune system. Individuals who get frequent infections or suffer from chronic infections typically have impaired thymus activity. Also, people affected with hay fever, allergies, migraine headaches, or rheumatoid arthritis usually have altered thymus function.
“The thymus is responsible for many immune system functions, including the production of T lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell responsible for cell-mediated immunity (immune mechanisms not controlled or mediated by antibodies). Cell-mediated immunity is extremely important in the resistance to infection by mould-like bacteria, yeast (including Candida albicans), fungi, parasites and viruses (including herpes simplex, Epstein-Barr, and viruses that cause hepatitis). If an individual is suffering from an infection from these organisms, it is a good indication that his or her cell-mediated immunity is not functioning up to par. Cell-mediated immunity is also critical in protecting against the development of autoimmune conditions and allergies.”
This offering from NXGEN is very exciting, because it combines freeze dried thymus with other organs known to play critical roles in immune function, detoxification, and histamine metabolism.
Take six capsules daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. For best results take all six capsules in one serving with a large glass of water, but if this is not possible, feel free to spread the intake into smaller servings. NXGEN Wholefoods recommends three months and ongoing of consistent usage.
The capsules may be taken with or without food. The capsules may be emptied into food or cool beverages if you are not squeamish about doing this.
If you have an autoimmune condition, are in generally poor health, are new to organ supplements, or know yourself to be sensitive to supplements, it is strongly recommended that you introduce these capsules slowly and increase to the full serving size gradually. For example, you could take one capsule a day for the first week, two capsules a day for the second week, three capsules a day for the third week, and so on.
Detox reactions are more likely to occur when starting at the full serving size. Detox reactions may include, but are not limited to: headaches; lethargy; flu-like symptoms; anxiety; tummy ache; irritability; and difficulty sleeping. Please educate yourself about detox reactions, also known as healing crises or Herxheimer reactions, before purchasing this product. We will NOT issue refunds because you had a detox reaction and didn’t like it.
Each bovine gelatin capsule contains: 100mg of freeze dried Australian grass fed liver (bovine); 100mg of freeze dried Australian grass fed kidney (bovine); 100mg of freeze dried Australian grass fed spleen (bovine); 100mg of freeze dried Australian grass fed lung (bovine); and 100mg of freeze dried Australian grass fed thymus (bovine).

|Tiny says: I have not tried these, so I have no personal insights to offer. However, I am very impressed that NXGEN has put together such a clever blend of the organs that are heavily involved in fighting bacterial and yeast infections, along with breaking down histamine. Take note of what Murray, Pizzorno and Pizzorno have to say about the role of the thymus gland in autoimmune conditions too. It seems to me that Histamine and Immune Capsules could be of great interest to people dealing with interstitial cystitis. If you give them a try, please do let me know how you get on!|
