UniBac Feminine Balance Intimate Live Bacteria Blend (50 Capsules)
UniBac Feminine Balance Intimate Live Bacteria Blend contains the probiotic strains Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus rhamnosus, which have been clinically proven to survive stomach acid and colonise vaginal cells. This might help to support a healthy vagina.
Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-14 has been studied alongside D-Mannose where it seemed to be effective in addressing bacterial urinary tract infections 1. Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 has been studied alongside Lactobacillus acidophilus and lactoferrin as an adjuvant therapy in women with bacterial vaginosis. Itching, vaginal discharge and recurrence rate were found to be significantly improved by using this combination of probiotics in conjunction with lactoferrin 2.
UniBac Feminine Balance is a probiotic created especially for women and is a perfect companion to Waterfall D-Mannose. Each capsule provides 5 billion CFU.

|Tiny says: As this is a new product I have not tried it. I am a fan of Lactobacillus rhamnosus in general though and I am very pleased to be able to offer a product containing this strain! The team at SC Nutra emphasised to me that this is an excellent companion product to Waterfall D-Mannose, so I think it will be of particular interest to women prone to cystitis and bladder issues. Those of you seeking to address recurrent thrush or bacterial vaginosis might also like to consider SC Nutra’s Wild Oregano Oil C80 Softgels, although please note that you should not take antifungals at exactly the same time as probiotics, so space them out by at least a couple of hours!|
