Many people use glucosamine and chondroitin supplements to help with osteoarthritis, as these ingredients support the structural integrity of joints and connective tissue.  By replenishing the synovial fluid that keeps cartilage, ligaments and tendons soft and flexible, glucosamine and chondroitin may keep joints mobile, cushioned and lubricated and thus provide pain relief.  Studies have shown that the combination of glucosamine and chondroitin provide the building blocks for development of healthy cartilage and connective tissue.  They may provide the same anti-inflammatory action as ibuprofen, with associated relief for Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and irritable bowel syndrome.

Did you know, though, that the GAG layer of the bladder is primarily made up of glycosaminoglycans like glucosamine and chondroitin?  It is theorized that the GAG layer of the bladder is ‘leaky’ in people with interstitial cystitis and non-bacterial prostatitis.  Supplementing with glucosamine and chondroitin may therefore replace the lost protective molecules in the bladder – several food supplements containing these nutrients have been studied in IC/PBS patients with positive results.

Free from gluten, fillers, shellfish and artificial ingredients.  Kosher certified; cGMP compliant; IC/PBS friendly.

Each pot contains 120 capsules.

Directions

As a dietary supplement, take one capsule twice a day, or as directed by a qualified healthcare provider.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains:  500mg of glucosamine hydrochloride; 250mg of chondroitin sulphate; 50mg of organic freeze-dried aloe vera powder; 3mg of silicon dioxide (a naturally occurring earth mineral); and 3mg of vegetable oil.
