Ten Years of Tiny Pioneer!

Ten Years of Tiny Pioneer!

Today is 1st February 2026 and it is Tiny Pioneer’s tenth birthday!  I can hardly believe that a decade has passed since our first ever customer placed an order!  Incredibly, some of you have been with us right from the start, through all of the different websites and at every milestone.  I feel immensely privileged that that should be the case and want to thank each and every person that has visited our website, read our blog, or purchased products from us over the years.  It is a pleasure to be able to serve you and to think that in some small way we might help you to live a more comfortable life.

I still often get a buzz of excitement when I see a new order come through.  The business is small enough that I know a lot of you by name, so I can usually tell if someone is placing an order for the first time.  When that happens, I wonder where they have come from and hope that they will come back, because if someone shops with us a few times, I deduce that our products must be helpful.  When people shop with us for a while, I begin to recognise their name and remember their usual order.  I might never have spoken to them, but they become familiar and then it is nice to see their name crop up on our system at regular intervals.

I knew from the start that I wanted Tiny Pioneer to be more than just a shop.  Beyond our customer base, I am delighted to know that people visit the website to read our blog posts.  Once in a while I get an email from somebody letting me know that they have found one of our blog posts particularly helpful, which is always lovely to hear.  It is no secret that Tiny Pioneer was born as a result of my own health issues and there have been many, many blogs on other people’s websites over the years that have helped me.  If any of our blog posts pay that forwards and shave some time off someone else’s healing journey, then that means that some of my own struggles were not in vain.  I am particularly proud of the messages I receive from people who find hope on our blog, especially as pertains to persistent genital arousal disorder, which had a remarkably bleak outlook on the internet when I first established Tiny Pioneer.

On the subject of blogs, I admit to having fallen very behind with uploading regular content.  I used to be unwavering in posting one every month, but since 2022 I am afraid that life has got on top of me a bit.  Like many families, we were hit with an unexpected number of bereavements, one of which was in the household and required me to take over another business for a while.  I have been trying to fill in some of the gaps by backdating new content, so if you like to read every blog (thank you!) then you’ll need to jump back to around May 2023 and read all of the posts between this one and then!  I will do my best to catch up with the blog and bring it up to date.  I hope to eventually post more regularly again, because I do think it’s important to give to people and not just take from them.

I will bring this particular blog post to an end here.  I know lots of business have gimmicky sales at milestones, but as I always say to people on the phone, we do our best to offer fair prices to everyone all of the time.  I don’t think it is right to reward new custom over loyal custom, to favour those who can afford to make bulk purchases, or to operate at higher margins so that you can offer sales at other times.  It’s one thing for makeup or fancy clothes, but another for food and health supplements, I think.  If we’ve got a product on sale, it’s because it has a short date!

Thank you once again for ten years of Tiny Pioneer and, as always, I wish you the very best of health.
